Selsey is a coastal fishing village on the west coast of Araluen. Although it is technically part of Araluen, it is not governed by any fiefs, and thus holds partial independence from the country itself, though the people are still answerable to the Royal Family and their representatives.
Halt tracks the Outsider cult here and foils their plot to rob the village of its valuables. He captures their leader, who exclaims, "What are you doing here?" when he sees Halt's face. It turns out that the man has mistaken him for his twin brother Ferris, who is the king of the Hibernian kingdom Clonmel.
