Lord Lorriac was the leader of the King's heavy cavalry. He also organised the kingdom's army, taking some of the load off King Duncan. He was killed by the Kalkara in The Ruins of Gorlan.
The Battle of Hackham Heath[]
At the Battle of Hackham Heath Lorriac was a young captain who Sir David assigned as Commander of the Cavalry. Captain Lorriac lead the cavalrymen, following Gilan and Halt, to the rear of the Wargals to attack the Wargals. This is the main reason King Duncan won The First Araluen Civil War. This caused the fear among Wargals of horses to lift dramatically.
