Drina was a young Roamer woman who was apart of Jerome's Roamer band. Like all of the band, her extended family, Drina treated Hilde cruelly, referring to her as a 'worthless crone' and was clearly aware of the illegal dog fights they led.

History[]

The Roamers[]

Drina and the group of Roamers she belonged to camped out by the village of Wensley in Redmont for a nights, during which their leader Jerome stole Ebony, after which the Roamers took flight, making as if to remove themselves from the immediate district to avoid the persecution of harbouring a dog-thief. After around five days of this fast moving travellers, during which the gypsie-like people attempted to camp out at a farmer's property, only to be told to move on, the group finally halted by an unknown village where they settled for the time being. Several days after this settling, Drina might have been one of the trio of Roamer women that Will and Alyss saw stinging up washed clothes for drying.

Drina, catching sight of the figure she believed was the camp's drudge Hilde, but was in actuality the Courier Alyss, making her way towards to forest, called out to the ragged figure in a shrill voice, demanding to knowing where 'the worthless crone' was going and urgently beckoning from the rear platform railing of the caravan that was her home, where she was leaning. Told by the 'elderly Gallican' that she was collecting firewood, Drina considered this for several seconds, then nodded and commanded 'Hilde' to gather some redberries while there, as Camlo (who was presumably her husband, brother or some other close male relative of Drina's) desired for her to make redberry wine, but she was out of the berries needed, which 'Hilde' replied to obediently, promising to fetch a good batch.

Sometime later, however, Drina was, with the rest of the camp, told by a terrified Petulengo of how Jerome had met his death at the jaws of Demon Tooth, who had in turn been cut down by an arrow to the side and the entire camp, Drina amongst them, gathered together in a silent half circle, watching in apprehension as the cloaked figure of a Ranger arrived with the stolen dog and the tall girl they had thought was Hilde. However, though obviously hostile, Drina, like the rest of her people, refrained from attacking a person of law like Will and simply listened as Will confirmed that Jerome and Demon Tooth were dead, though whether Drina actually felt overly saddened by her chieftain and kinsman's death is unclear. Rather, Drina presumably fixed a blank expression on her face as Will reveals that he knew Jerome intended to stage dog fights, then allows her features to give way to surly acceptance as Will told the band that they had 8 hours to depart from the fief and would be shunned and hounded from the adjoining provinces, accepting that her and her people's actions deserved no better having been caught out in illegal actions and taking it philosophically as the way of life. With her immediate family, Drina prepared to depart and left under the firm gaze of the two members of the separate corps.
