Castle Norgate was one of two castles in Norgate Fief. The other, Castle Macindaw guarded the Macindaw border. It was said to look more like a fort than a castle but it still had its full garrison of soldiers. The river Oosel flowed through the castle.
The resident Ranger was Meralon, he wasn't the best Ranger, having grown too close to his Baron, which isn't something Rangers should do. He also did not keep the best eye on his feif, and was prone to pridefullness.
