Arndak was a Skandian trader and skirl of Spraydancer.

History

Though little is known about Arndak's history, it can be assumed that he likely went through Brotherband training. He may have joined a trading crew after graduating, working for years before gathering enough money to purchase his own ship. He had at least one sibling, a unknown sister, who would eventually give birth to his nephew, Ernak. Arnak and his sibling obviously had a close, loving relationship

The Outcasts

Arndak was on a trading expedition south of the Sonderland coast with a small fleet made up of Spraydancer, Rainbow, Golden Sun, and Sealion, along with his nephew, Ernak. One by one, each ship was taken down by Raven. Seeing no other choice, the crew of Spraydancer decided to go down fighting.

Despite offering significant resistance, all of Arndak's crew was either incapacitated or killed, leaving just Arndak. Knowing he wouldn't surrender otherwise, Zavac had his crew held Ernak hostage, prompting Arndak to drop his weapons.

As a condition for sparing Ernak, who Arndak attempted to save for the sake of his sister, Arndak told Zavac of the andomal, a precious Skandian artifact. Despite his promise, Zavac locked the two in the hold of Spraydancer and sunk the ship, drowning them.
